"I was delighted with Caroline's work on my Victorian sewing stool. Given it's age and condition I was concerned that it was beyond salvage and I would be saying farewell to a much loved piece of family history; however Caroline's sensitive approach and attention to detail have transformed it back into a stylish and useful piece of furniture again. I can't recommend her work enough! "

"I love the curtains that you made for our living room, your suggestions regarding the heading work really well in our cottage. Many thanks for your guidance and if we require your services again – we'll be in touch."

"Having inherited my grandmother's ottoman many many years ago I was concerned that the wear and tear of the fabric meant it wasn't being used to its best advantage. Instead, it was considered a delicate heirloom and hidden upstairs out of sight under a throw. It seemed to be a waste of furniture, taking up valuable space, and although I was sentimental about having it I was also desperate to be able to use it! Being so emotionally attached to it I would have loved to have been able to renovate it myself, but lacking in both time and more importantly, skill, I jumped at the chance when I knew Caroline could help. She was very helpful in the amount and type of fabric required as well as suggestions of where to get it from and had extreme patience over my ditherings and questions! The bright lining was an excellent suggestions of hers as was the tassle and the studwork. Her work is of the highest standard and I really couldn't be happier. The ottoman is now no longer hidden from view either upstairs or under a cover but has pride of place downstairs and is a highly usuable piece of furniture as well as another storage solution. I now have great plans for Caroline to help us with our curtain queries and I would recommend her to everyone!"
